DEVY STONEZ

Devy Stonez has been on the DailyOoze radar for awhile now and he has became such a regular on my playlist that it is shocking he has been overlooked for an artist profile. Coming straight out of the DFW metroplex, Devy has been putting out music since the early years of the Dallas music scene. If there is one thing I associate Stonez with its Quality. From his music to visuals Devy has been consistently pushing out great content and I’ve always felt that he should be seen by more rap fans. Now I don’t like to put artist in a box or catalog but I genuinely think Devy is up there with artist like Schoolboy Q, Mic Jenkins, and many other great artist who have so much substance in their art. I think what album gave me this perspective on Devy was his 2018 project “Vol.1 Enjoying Life”. Enjoying Life was a very versatile project that featured tracks you could smoke to but also tracks you could put on and vibe with a girl. The project also featured a music video for Devy’s track “Switchblade” which again was a quality well put together visual! All around Devy Stonez has all the elements to be at the top of the rap game, it’s just a matter of time now.
