After a fight had broken out at a recent event, KD didn’t let that stop his vibe, he hopped on stage and performed while people cleared the room. KD didn’t care that fans were leaving, his true passion is to perform and create. KD will go far with his work ethic alone, it’s only a matter of time before he finds his footing and really takes off.

Trap Fray debuts on the DailyOoze website with his latest project “Fraykenstein” available on all streaming platforms. Fraykenstein was my introduction to Fray and I will say I’m very impressed by the mixtape. From a listeners perspective, I liked how Fraykenstein had only 6 songs, short, sweet but still feels full. Fray shows off his range, with a variety of melodies while blending hard street content in his verses. I also think what makes this project stand out are the beats. DrumzandKeyz did great on the production. Having the whole project produced by one engineer makes Fraykenstein feel whole, and the transition from one song to the next sounds seamless. Overall, I would recommend everyone to check out Trap Fray.

Turbo Mnster is back on the DailyOoze website with his latest project “MONSTER” available on Spinrilla. Turbo pulled big names for the project such as Soulja Boy and Slimesito. MONSTER is a very raw project, and you can tell Turbo put a lot of effort into it, with the track list coming in at 26 songs. A ton of content to push that features well known artist, I think Turbo will have a great chance to capitalize on “MONSTER”.

Frank Slim- Tales of a Hitman
Today I got the chance to dive into Frank Slims latest project Tales of a Hitman. This album is my introduction to Slim, and first track already had my head bouncing. Huge shoutout to Vdrivn on the production, classic third coast beats that have a eerie undertone. Tales of a Hitman was well put together, the features correlated with Frank and all around it was a cohesive album. I would highly recommend Tales of a Hitman to anyone who need album to bump while hotboxing.

Black Coffee John makes his debut on the DailyOoze with his latest single “Tokyo”. For the initial rollout, John dropped a Claymation video to push the single and it is great! reminds me of some of Robot Chicken’s earlier animations. The track is funky and catchy, I caught myself whispering “Imma go to Tokyo, going to japan” as I write this article! Overall, this was great release from the cover art, animation to the song! If there is one thing Black Coffee John showed on his debut it was quality!

I knew Do or Die was headed in the right direction when I saw that it featured production from familiar super producer Sora! The Ep’s track list seamlessly fits together and Eli’s flow is smooth! Do Or Die is the perfect project for the summer, I can see myself letting this Ep play from start to finish while driving around running errands. The energy of Do or Die instills so much confidence into the listener making them feel like they can take on anything!

I love the colors used for the video and the edits remind me of Capital Steeze’s “Fear the Robots” visual. VIC and Tyrant play off each other so well its almost seamless when they transition to the next verse. The duo reminds me of the Hardy Boyz, VIC hits you with the technical word play while Token adds that third coast flow to bring you that Braindead sound!

Today we got the chance to take our very first look at up and coming artist Monarch and his first visual “I’M Off A LICK” shot by Teoshotthis. The video is shot very well and transitions were seamless. Monarch random antics throughout the visual is entertaining but since Monarch is off a lick he remains masked up with a Spiderman mask to not give away his identity. The song itself showcases Monarch’s flow which is really catchy over Retro Satus’s beat. I feel like this music video is a great introduction to Monarch, it leaves the viewer questioning what he looks like, what is he all about and what’s next for the upcoming MC.

Usually i’m covering trap artist, so to able to take a step away from it to cover Jugo’s EP was quite refreshing. The beats are soothing and make me reminisce back to when I was younger at Dillards walking around the furniture section, and they have jazz music playing in the background. Juiced is a perfect EP to put on when you want to sit back and relax. Jugo is one of the best young producers leaving his mark in the DFW metroplex but he is also a great human being. I’ve been following Grex for awhile, he has great energy and has a passion for art like no one I know. Grex is persistent, and always progressing his sound, that’s why his latest collab project with Travis Gore, “Garbage fire Vol. 1” is impressive to me. This was my first time listening to Travis Gore and his verse on “Basket Case” showed me that he takes his craft serious. Garbage Fire Vol.1 is a great blend of rap and rock, Grex has been a catalyst for this sound in the DFW Metroplex and the quality keeps getting better and better. Garbage Fire also introduced me to Travis Gore, and from what I’ve heard I like him a lot. I’m excited to keep following Grex on his music journey and can’t wait to dive into more of Travis Gore’s catalog!
